On March 27, the Oklahoma House Rules Committee passed SB 309, which says that if a presidential elector votes in December for someone other than the expected presidential and vice-presidential candidates, he or she is deemed to have automatically resigned. The bill had passed the Senate unanimously on March 14.
Do they get replaced? How? By whom?
The other electors choose someone new. Of course if all the electors disobeyed, that would be a problem under this law.
So they are not using the term faithless electors?
Richard,
That is not something that is in current law either. There is nothing in that section of Statute that accounts for no electors showing up or all failing to vote.
Where is that Model Election Law ???
Gee – an empty envelope for 12th Amdt E.C. stuff – IF no legal E.C. votes from a MORON State ??? Duh.
Any real robots in OK capable of voting if the robot party hack E.C. Electors do not OBEY the WILL of the People ???
