1. There is no daily newspaper in Harrisburg any longer. The Patriot-News went to a Tue/Thu/Sun format nearly a year ago. It is one of the worst newspapers in the state and probably neither reader even saw the editorial in question. Even canaries and parakeets resent having to have it line their cages!

2. Even dimwitted birds may be smart enough to realize that disenfranchising voters to gain political advantage is un-American.

4. Top 2 Open Primary does not have this problem since candidates are not running as the nominee of any party or political organization.
