U.S. Supreme Court Sets Conference Date to Consider Virginia Petitioner Residency Case

The U.S. Supreme Court has put Judd v Libertarian Party of Virginia, 13-231, on its November 26 conference. This is the case in which the lower courts struck down Virginia’s ban on out-of-state petitioners. The state is trying to persuade the U.S. Supreme Court to hear this case and reverse the lower courts.
