City Council Candidate in Peoria, Arizona, Accidentally Omitted from Absentee Ballots

Ken Krieger, one of the three candidates for one of the City Council seats in Peoria, Arizona, is about to decide whether to sue election officials for omitting his name from all absentee ballots. See this story. Replacement ballots have been mailed, but the notice with the replacement ballot just said that voters should vote again because one candidate’s name had been omitted from the first ballot. That notice did not even name Krieger. Thanks to Kory Langhofer for the link.

  1. I wonder if this had been a 3rd party or Independent whose name(s) were left off the ballot after qualifying, would the elections officials made effort to correct their error?

  2. The guy who put up the comment above doesn’t even know that city council elections are non partisan. No one runs as a dem or repub.

My guess is that Binsbacher used all the money she got from the police/fire unions to buy this race. This is nothing but graft & corruption. No candidate should take money from city unions. The city council sets the contract rates of pay for fire/police.

Its a clear conflict of interest. Binsbacher has low morals.

  3. I doubt that screwing over Dr. Kreiger TWICE was a mere “accident”. He was intentionally left off the ballot by liberal bureaucrats to trivialize his campaign. I hope he sues their pants off.

  5. I should mention that traditionally, most of the mayoral and city council victors, in Peoria, AZ have been bought & paid for by the city unions.

They should go to jail for accepting the bribes.
