According to the Hawaii Independent Party’s website, it reads; “The Hawaii Independent Party is founded on the basis that the needs and aspirations of the average citizen are more important than party ideology.”
Often I find that such party candidates tend to be more “liberal” than they are “conservative.”
So much for not being “ideological.”
While I am pleased the voters of Hawaii have the Independent Party as a choice, I wonder what kind of reception would a “populist” like me receive?
