Texas Poll — 4 Comments

  1. It is interesting the article reads,”…Davis leads with voters who said they never attend church services.” This should show us the evolution which is apparently taking place within the once great Democratic Party.

It is also encouraging voters are at least expressing support for 3rd party candidates, even if this support does not remain to reflect in actual number of votes received on election day.

  2. This is the sort of information that cements plurality elections’ psychological momentum. The only poll that will break that mindset is pure proportional representation (PR).

Check out the 9th USA Parliament. We’ve been using pure American PR for 19 consecutive years and it works fine:

  3. The English language version of the Texas senate debate will be run on CSPAN on Wednesday 29.

The UT/Texas Tribune poll is an internet poll, though with demographic matching. Nonetheless, persons of the same race, age, sex, and residence, who use the internet and will volunteer to be polled may be different than those who don’t. Their polls always skew toward the Libertarian party.
