British Public Watches 7-Party Debate — 3 Comments

  1. I bet the Commission on Presidential Debates closed their eyes and stuck their fingers in their ears and start chanting “I’m not listening, I’m not listening!” during coverage of this, so they wouldn’t inadvertently see the proof that their bogus stance against including third party candidates is wrong. Too bad for them that the multiple organizations filing open debate petitions, and Jill Stein and Gary Johnson’s lawsuit, will more than make sure that they become aware of the successful seven party debate in the UK. Here’s hoping we see at least the Libertarian and Green Party candidates standing alongside the Democratic and Republican candidates in the 2016 debates!

  2. The Brits have a de facto TYRANT regime regarding TV in the regime — i.e. who gets to say ANY thing on the tube.

Hope for CHAOS in the 650 gerrymander districts —
NO party getting even 30 percent of the total votes —

perhaps even NONE of the 650 winning hacks getting a bare majority in his/her local district.

i.e. FORCE the DARK AGE MONSTERS to enact P.R. and separation of powers in the 1066 DARK AGE regime.

  3. Very good news and an interesting article. But I am a bit disappointed that the Monster Raving Looney Party was not represented. http://www.omrlp.com/ Oh well, better luck for them next time.

And not being familiar with British politics other than the OMRLP, I had to look some of these up. Ukip is the UK independence party favoring withdrawal from the EU, Plaid Cymru (no, not a performing whale), is the party of Wales advocating Welsh independence, and SNP is for Scottish independence. FYI.
