  1. I believe the format that makes the most sense would be one that relies on ballot access. The most fair in my own opinion would be that all candidates that have ballot access in enough states to theoretically win should be included. From my understanding in the 20th century this has never exceeded more than about a half a dozen individuals at most and is often only 3 or 4 candidates

  2. Yes, the April 1st date is a bit concerning.

If legitimate, Richard please keep us updated on any link that is posted by the CPD. I will be submitting feedback with the CPD if an opportunity arises.

I say a graduated access to any debate should be.
    1) 1st debate includes all electorally eligible candidates. Ie ballot access in enough states to theoretically garner 270 electoral votes
    2) 2nd debate: 10% polling threshold
    3) 3rd debate: 20% threshold
    4) 4th debate: 30% threshhold
