According to this story, the Idaho Constitution Party will have a presidential primary next year. The focus of the story is Rev. Scott A. Copeland, who is seeking the party’s presidential nomination and who is campaigning around the nation. He lives in Texas.
So the Idaho CP wants the tax payer welfare as well. printing separate ballots for each party has got to be pretty expensive, if you have to print ballots for every voter.
Idaho has party registration, so its not like in Montana where you have to assume that every voter will choose the Libertarian ballot and discard the other two.
If paper ballots are used, you can prepare a modest number, and print others if necessary. If voting machines are used, it doesn’t matter how many people vote.
I think Copeland has a good shot at getting the CP nomination.
Chad Coppie for President or Vice President.
