If it was Rhode Island or Hawaii or somewhere like that, I might be able to understand. But in Montana, the Republicans have the majority in both houses of the state legislature, one U.S. Senator and the U.S. Representative at large. They shouldn’t be in dire straits.
The Republicans may have had majorities in both Montana Houses, but the Democratic governor was still able to get over 90% of what he wanted passed by that majority in the last legislative session. Go Figure.
