Rocky De La Fuente has created the American Delta Party, to help him be able to run for President in November, 2016. Ten states make it substantially easier to get a new party on the ballot than for an independent presidential candidate. In spirit, though, De La Fuente is an independent presidential candidate.
The party doesn’t seem to have a web page yet.
Was there any explanation of why he chose that name?
You can read the Certificate of Existence filed with the Nevada Secretary of State here: https://nvsos.gov/Modules/ShowDocument.aspx?documentid=4285
It’s listed as a Minor Political Party by the Nevada Secretary of State: https://nvsos.gov/index.aspx?page=114
The website seems like it should be up soon, since the domain americandeltaparty.com was snagged by Hani Farah (an attorney in California: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hani-farah-06989646)) on May 27: http://wa-com.com/americandeltaparty.com
Rocky talks a little about the party in this (Spanish-language) interview: http://www.univision.com/noticias/elecciones-2016/la-campana-ignorada-del-tenaz-rocky-de-la-fuente-el-unico-hispano-en-la-carrera-por-la-casa-blanca
Rocky Party — Rock Party ???
What’s in a name — esp. for ANY political party ???
Rocky, can you please just give me all the money you’re planning on spending on your campaign? Please? It will go to better use that way. I guarantee you.
Source?
De La Fuente’s De La ta party, so, literally, “Of the ta” as in “Save the ta tas.” Perhaps they’ll align with the Constitution Party which already has “tit” in its name.
@Cal,
Hani Farah is listed as his attorney in some of his ballot access litigation.
If hes about saving the ta tas,especially if they are very nice ta tas,the man has my vote!
