Interesting that the only parties pushing for this are ones that cannot win anything meaningful otherwise. The Tories, Labor and SNP all do just fine the way things are thankyouverymuch! Change? Not a chance!
To be fair, the article does note that Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell does call on the Labour Party to support proportional representation too. While that’s not official Labour Party policy, that call does seem somewhat significant.
Several California leaders, Libertarian, Green, Republican, Indedependent and Democratic, are vigorously working on Pamela Elizondo’s unity platform proposals, to make the five items acceptable for a wider audience.

The USA Parliament and the United Coalition have been using pure proportional representation (PR) for more that twenty-one consecutive years and PR works very well.
The top MORONS in the Lib Dems had their chance to FORCE the Cons to have P.R. in the prior H.C. Cons-LD coalition regime.
Now the Lib Dems are nearly dead — replaced by the UKIPs and Greens.
Serves the LD folks very right for being SOOOOO SUPER STUPID.
