The North Dakota petition deadline for independent candidates is Tuesday, September 6. So far, two independent presidential petitions have been submitted: for Jill Stein and Rocky De La Fuente. North Dakota permits presidential candidates who use the independent procedure to choose a party label, so Stein will have “Green” next to her name.
The qualified parties in North Dakota are Democratic, Libertarian, and Republican.
According to Dave Leip’s Atlas, Virgil Goode received 1,185 votes (0.37%) in North Dakota in 2012.
The Constitution Party currently lists North Dakota as “ballot access in progress” on its map, along with Rhode Island. http://www.constitutionparty.com/get-involved/election-central/ballot-access/
Is it possible that the CP will make it on the ballot in either North Dakota or Rhode Island?
Both Constitution Party petitions are likely to succeed.
Even if they do- the CP will be on in less states then they were in 2012. Including Castle’s home state of Tennessee.
It is very likely that Darrell Castle will be on in 25 states, the same as Virgil Goode in 2012.
Wikipedia’s map shows that Goode was on in 26 states:

What is the latest on the Constitution Party in Tennessee? Was the Castle campaign able the 39 signatures restored to get on the ballot? Or are they going to have a write-in campaign for president?
Goode was on in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. I was wrong whe I said 25. Goode was on in 26.
