Jill Stein’s Path for a Pennsylvania Recount is Especially Difficult — 9 Comments

  1. All right. Am I missing something with the Stein/Green Party recount? In the states of Mich, Penn, and Wis, are they close to being able to qualify for the ballot for the next four years or something like that, and they need just a few hundred more votes?

  2. This is what I find strange. Greens retained their ballot lines in WI, MI, and PA. Finding more votes in these states will not assist the Green Party with ballot access since they already have it. Further, MI used paper ballots. So the focus on Michigan was… interesting. If the goal was finding additional Green votes New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Texas are more likely. I find the whole scenario strange.

  3. This is a clever way for The Green Party to get a list of contributors, and to help The Green Party look good to progressive Democrats. The recount will not have an effect on the Green Party vote. Those three states were chosen because they have voted Democrat for many elections in a row, and polls before Nov. 8 showed Hilary Clinton in the lead.

The recount will not likely have any effect on the election, but now The Green Party has a bigger list of contributors. And the Democrats can enjoy Trump being put through this without being sore losers themselves.

  4. I believe this is why there has been so much blowback against Jill Stein. The motivations seemed suspect and the messaging surrounding the recount seemed “off.”

  5. Jill stein is funded by hillary. A sore losers who cannot handle her failures. She is a crook who got away with it because of her money and corrupt government.
