According to this story, Pennsylvania State Senator Daylin Leach, a Democrat, will introduce a bill next year for Pennsylvania to join the compact for a national popular vote for president. Pennsylvania’s legislature has a Republican majority in both houses.
DOA.
When will the Democracy folks REBEL against / SECEDE from the minority rule gerrymander oligarchs in de facto control of the various State regimes and the Fed regime ???
See the 1776 DOI and its list of all sorts of INTOLERABLE stuff by the Brit monarchs/oligarchs.
National Vote Plan won’t go anywhere.
Pennsylvania would be smarter to adopt instant runoff voting for President. IRV could actually increase a state’s influence on the national popular vote total.
