U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders was on “Meet the Press” on February 12. He said he is not interested in starting a new party, and says he intends to try to improve the Democratic Party. See this story. Thanks to Irv Sutley for the link.

I take it he’s never heard of the Green Party?
He’s certainly heard *from* the Green Party. :}
Im pretty mixed right now about this move.
Pros
– It take some time (around 4 to 8 year period) to reformed the Democratic Party
– Possibly can replace majority of Centrist/Corporate Democrats with his Left-leaning (Social Democrat/Normal Progressives) ones with Grassroots charm within 2018 subgeneral election
– He still same Bernie as before and during 2016 election
Cons
– It he not only one trying current state of party, other movements before him failed do so since 1968
– Probably (and likely) Establishment Democrats will using him as spokeman than de facto leader of Party
– Almost already abandoning hope for Democratic Party ever since Bernie endorsed her (Hillary)
– Hillary and lot several more Corporate Democrats are maybe running for 2020 which still not good
– Cause more disillusion some more his radical followers and some will ether go Independent or joining some Left wing third party like Greens and Democratic Socialists see in this link (http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/how-democratic-socialists-are-building-on-bernies-momentum-w465452)
and lastly Internet can virtually recorded alot political events on Democratic Party’s history
Obviously, it’s Bernie’s choice, and he’s chosen, even if I disagree. I think Bernie has lost as lot of independent leftists and socialists when he decided to tie himself completely to the Democratic Party. We supported him because he was a leftist, not because he was running as a Democrat, and many have zero interest in trying to save such a corrupt, establishment institution that despises the fact we dare question how they do business.
I’d rather help build up a functional Green Party in this state rather than try to make the completely conservative Democratic Party here try to actually support my views.
Hmmm….Bernie Sanders is not “the Greens”, although many g.’S respect Bernie, and the info about Ms Stein was interesting— this whole political administrational roundabout is, I THINK, the main reason to DUMP GAMED PARLIAMENTARY PROCESS ALTOGETHER, because all this jockeying for position and ” shadow loyalties” just CONSUME PEOPLE/TIME, STUNT GENUINELY PROGRESSIVE CHANGE TO TOO MANY ISSUES TO NAME HERE, and worst of all LETS THE CURRENT MOLDERS OF IMPORTANT NATIONAL POLICY (S) TO REMAIN IN positions of power, actually the LICENSE that corporate structure allows…
Could be, Bernie just HASN’T SEEN a credible alternative to GAMED parliamentary procedure, but–
I’M going to keep on with TRYING TO BRING ABOUT A SIMPLIFICATION and therefore GREATER APPLICABILITY of sociocivic administration, a PEOPLE “party” that seeks THE ADVANCEMENT OF HUMANITY as main raison d’ĂȘtre …
