Of course they are now that they’re trailing in the polls.
Well, this is not surprising. The Liberal Party collapsed with the independence of Ireland. The Labour Party will, as well, if Scotland goes independent. Proportional representation is their only hope to hold on in England itself.
This question has been coming up for years; way back to Margret Thatcher being Prime minister with 43 % of the vote. It was derailed with Tony Blair being PM with less than that. Too much is made of this . It just means that as they move left they are finally adopting the correct democratic position. Good.
