Assuming the British Columbia preliminary election returns are confirmed in a recount, the Green Party will hold the balance of power in the provincial legislature. According to this article, the Greens are likely to use their power to try to obtain proportional representation for future provincial legislative elections.
The 10th USA Parliament started using pure proportional representation (PR) in 1995, more than twenty-two years ago, and it works fine.

Now there is an International Parliament, and we are helping to guide voters with PR around the world in a United Coalition of Candidates write-in campaign:

Nobody has it better than the USA and International Parliaments.
the problem is the Greens have a preferred method and don’t want a referendum just legislation.
The NDP do want a referendum but haven’t decided on a method which they would leave to an expert panel to decide.
Remember also that BC has also had TWO referendums to implement PR in 2005 and 2009 and both failed to meed the necessary thresholds.
3rd time a charm?
