Maine Legislature Extends Legislative Session from June 21 to June 26

On June 21, the Maine legislature decided not to adjourn on June 21, which had been the original plan. Instead it will adjourn June 26. That gives it more time to settle the budget and also to decide what to do about Ranked Choice Voting.

  1. Ranked choice voting (RCV) will not ever help third parties and independents as proposed in Maine. That’s because, the party bosses of those groups, do not understand how pure proportional representation works, and the RCV they are discussing will never give them pure proportional representation.

After bringing pure proportional representation before pluralists in the California Green, Republican, Democratic and Libertarian Parties, it is clear that people who function under the division mindset of plurality elections, we can easily determine that they can’t escape from the polarization and divisions of pluralist (not proportionalist) psychology.

Pluralists cannot say “yes, let’s work together of proportional representation” because they are forever stuck in the psychology of being better than all others. If you are a Democratic or Republican, do you think the Green or Libertarian Party will want to work together?

No, they will never want that, they only want to fuss and fight, over anything possible, but never to sit down and get it done right.

If you are interested in pure proportional representation (PR), there is only one way, and the 10th USA Parliament and First International Parliament Election of 2017 have been doing it right for more than twenty-two years.

Join the worldwide movement for pure proportional representation by completing the sign-up form and pick “Senator” to join the new International Parliament Senate Chamber.

Nobody has it as good as the United Coalition.

  2. Brandon, thanks for the question.

The First International Parliament Election of 2017 ends on August 5th and First International Parliament is then elected to a five-year session.

Perhaps by August 6th a volunteer will step up to register us with Wikipedia.

We have thousands of volunteers and signups from around the world.

At this time we are not affiliated with any of the International Parliaments on the Wkipedia site.
