On August 23, Cooperative Congressional Election Survey released a study of general election voters in 2016 who had supported Bernie Sanders during primary season. See this story. It shows that 12% of them voted for Donald Trump, and 8% voted for someone other than either major party presidential nominee.
One more reason to have NONPARTISAN elections for all executive and judicial offices.
The appointed SCOTUS hacks have made each Prez into a killer-monarch
— ie. Prez nonstop UN-declared wars – in blatant violation of Art. I, Sec. 8 — esp since 1950 – Korean WAR.
ie — letting each Prez be like the earlier killer-monarchs in Europe in 1787 and later — Napoleon, Kaiser Bill in WW I, Hitler in WW II, etc.
Also to have TOTAL separation of powers — NO Prez veto power, NO Prez pardon power, NO Prez treaty making power.
A sobering analysis. It would be more interesting if they provided more detail on which third party candidates got votes from Sanders voters.
Ladies and gentlemen, Honorable Andy Caffrey [Ecotopian Democratic], candidate for US Congress, California Congressional District #2:

Stay tuned, he will start with a song, and then sing at the end.
How many folks are lying to the moron pollsters ???
IE – a Sanders liar (allegedly voted for Trump) may want to wipe out the Donkey convention super-delegates.
Well, I wrote in Jill Stein here in Indiana, and she got 7,500 counted votes here (some counties here don’t seem to count write-ins, not even qualified write-ins) compared to the 700ish she got in 2012, so I have to imagine a hell of a lot of Bernie supporters here moved to Jill over that neoconservative warhawk. It’s sad that 80% of Bernie supporters ended up supporting Hillary, but hey, 20% is a start, even if they didn’t all back the same person.
The survey data is available on line. The survey was of 60,000 persons via internet surveys (Yougov). While they use matching techniques, such that various subgroups (e.g. one eyed one armed purple people eaters OEOAPPE) are represented in the sample in the same proportion that they are in the general population there can still be selection biases. Presumably, not all OEOAPPE are equally internet-using, nor willing to participate in a very long survey. OEOAPPE who use the internet more may be more aware of alternative candidates; OEOAPPE who favor certain candidates may be more willing to participate – taking a survey may in their mind be akin to going to a campaign rally, or signing an online petition, or liking a candidate’s Facebook page. And while OEOAPPE are unlikely to lie to pollsters, other persons might.
If I understand some of the information, it appears that Hillary Clinton was easily elected President, and over 10% of voters voted for other than Trump or Clinton. There may be some weighting issues that I don’t understand.

Classic! 😉
I wonder if this info is correct. Thanks for the read but I think my article covers the topic better. Here read here http://bit.ly/1TQgmHEd
