New Jersey is holding a gubernatorial election on November 7. The Star-Ledger and its associated newspapers have published this lengthy story about each of the three minor party gubernatorial nominees, and both independent candidates for Governor. Thanks to Frank Morano for the link.
Nonpartisan AppV for all elected executive officers and all judges – pending Condorcet math.
Interesting… Genovese seems like an impressive candidate. Would be nice if she had a shot at the debates.
I’m hoping for a good percentage for Kaper Dale myself. Though I’m a bit sad at the lack of a socialist candidate, as New Jersey has not a bad history of having one or even two socialist options on the ballot.
This is a typically divisive article … set up to pit the 57% against the 43%.
Are you interested in reading about candidates working together for the whole 100% without divisive reporting and biased advertising under pure proportional representation (PR)?
The United Coalition of Candidates has been doing exactly that for more than 22 consecutive years and it works fine.
Nobody has it as good as the United Coalition:
