Arthur Jones, a white supremacist, is the only person who filed petitions to be on the Republican primary ballot for the U.S. House, 3rd district. He needed 603 valid signatures. No one challenged his petition, so he is on the ballot and no one is running against him for the Republican nomination.
Five individuals did examine his petition, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections’ web page, so even during the challenge period, there was an awareness of Jones’ filing. See this story.

If this guy is truly a “white supremacist” is must be really stupid on a whole lot of levels. Running in an urban black majority district with views like that? Not only stupid (as in not getting elected) but dangerous!

He’s going to be clobbered in the general election. Even some of the few Republicans who live in that area are likely to refuse to vote for him. If he’s lucky, he might get 10% of the vote, and good riddance.
He’s looking for a platform from which to speak, which this will give him from now until November. He can recruit new Nazis and when it’s all said and done he will probably get thirty or forty thousand votes which he can claim as showing significant popular support for his ideas.
It’s really a shame that a qualified sane person running as a third party sometimes gets hardly any votes, but this racist is probably going to get a double digit percentage.
Shouldn’t we be trying to find another Maxine Waters or Chuck Schumer to fill this seat so we can stop these hundreds of millions of white nazis from doing anything beyond the labor necessary to fund the democratic national attack on and dispossession of their race? We only want them to PAY for everything while WE (as in anyone who isn’t a white male)gets to call all the shots and decide whose ‘racist.’ The NERVE of some white people in our new non-white world! Hatin Whitey.. The modern left is too socially liberal to be fascist. Fascism requires socialist economic policies with authoritarian social policies. When you average out the policies of the Democrats (Social Democrats aka Center-Right Egalitarians) and Republicans (Social Authoritarians) the United States IS fascist (economics of the Democrats with the social policies of the Republicans), but neither party quite fits the definition on their own.
