In U S Term Limits v Thornton the U S Supreme Court ruled that states may neither add nor subtract from the qualifications in the Constitution for federal candidates. How then can the Republican Party empower the state to enforce qualifications for U S Senate candidates made up by the party which the Court has said are “fixed”? This demand by the Republican Party officials seems arrogant or ignorant or both, but not surprising.

Donkeys v Elephants — in CA, TX, NY, IL, MI, OH, etc.
