On October 16, Dennis Hof died. He was the Republican nominee for Nevada Assembly District 36. The only other person on the ballot for that seat is a Democrat, Lesia Romanov.
In November 2016, Hof was the Libertarian nominee for the same seat. He polled 39.24% against his only opponent, a Republican. See this story. Thanks to Andy Craig for the link.
