Four of the five New York gubernatorial candidates will debate each other in Albany on November 1. The debate will be livestreamed, but not televised. The participants will be the Republican, Green, Libertarian, and SAM Party nominees. See this story. Incumbent Governor Andrew Cuomo won’t participate.
Empty chair with a RED communist Donkey picture taped on it ???
I’ve heard it will be covered by one of the local PBS stations. One of the panelists is the host of “Capital Pressroom” on PBS. And the first debate wasn’t televised across all places in upstate NY. In the Utica area there was no option to watch: https://www.syracuse.com/state/index.ssf/2018/10/ny_gov_debate_cuomo_molinaro_tv_channels.html
If I was Cuomo I wouldn’t bother showing up either. He doesn’t stand to benefit from it.
Cuomo is a complete puss for not having the backbone to debate his challengers.
Cumo is an intellectual coward for not participating. I would support a law that says that candidates who do not debate the other ballot qualified candidates shall be removed from the ballot.
The qualifications for most top offices are in constitutions for a reason –
NOT to allow legis HACKS to rig results even more.

Will any of the 4 note that C is one more HACK in a long line of HACKS in NY State
— who are meglo-maniacs and think they should automatically become a USA Prez
— Hmmm — was H.C. 1n 2016 from NY ???
Maybe Albany is not a convenient location for the governor.
How soon before New York City is re-named RED DONKEY City ???
— RED Donkey World Capitol — forget Moscow and Beijing, etc.
Andrew Cuomo isn’t the problem. The problem is that campaign finance rules permit a situation where there are five candidates for an office and one of them has seven million dollars on hand while the next closest competitor has two hundred thousand.
NO dollar limit in the 1st Amdt
— for a reason
— the public safety against ANTI-Democracy tyrants
— actual and wannabee.
— regardless of all SCOTUS HACK MORONS since 1974.

Any Guv palace/mansion/bunker in Albany – the NY State Capitol ???
@DR,
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_State_Executive_Mansion
Notable residents include Sam Tilden, Teddy Roosevelt, Al Smith, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Nelson Rockefeller.
George Pataki largely eschewed the mansion, saying it was good for his son to have his own room and pick up his socks. Mario Cuomo once had to chastize his son Chris Cuomo for demanding dinner up to his room. Andrew, Chris’s brother was an adult 25+ when their father was governor.
