Pennsylvania Bill to Let Independents Vote in Primaries Moves Ahead

On June 24, the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee passed SB 300.  It had passed the State Government Committee on June 19.  It now moves to the Senate floor.

It lets independents voters choose a partisan primary ballot.  Under existing law, only party members may vote in primaries.

  1. Sort of wipes out what a *party* IS — a FACTION of ALL Voters – having the SAME platform.

    NO primaries.
