About 97 pct of votes elected Members — USA about 60-62 pct in gerrymander areas.

The Austrian Greens made an epic comeback this time around, which as a Green myself here in the US, makes me quite happy. Amazing what happens when one’s electoral system is free, fair, and democratic.
For any new folks —
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proportional_representation
Wiki FAILS to specify INDIVIDUAL ballot access, basic PR and separation of powers.
Basic PR in one giant district or all districts —
Party Members = Total Members x Party Votes / Total Votes
RATIO math = TOTAL VOTES / TOTAL MEMBERS
Surplus votes down
Loser votes up
— pending Condorcet.
@ Demo Rep:
Anyone can submit corrections or additions to anything in Wikipedia.
One has to get past a mini-army of *experts* — esp. for ANY *political* reform stuff.
Well, it seems like the mini-army of experts isn’t exactly as effective as you make it out to be.

NO *experts* in any NEW AGE politics wiki ???
— or just more and more MORONS on the loose — esp in DEVIL CITY ???

The election was early because the head of the junior partner in the coalition government FPO, was videotaped in a honey trap in Ibiza, in which a woman posing as a niece of a Russian oligarch offered to buy an Austrian newspaper, which would publish favorable news stories in exchange for government contracts.
The coalition collapsed and the FPO dropped from 26.0% to 16.2%.
It might be hard to form a new coalition.
