Edward Stack, CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods and a billionaire, is thinking about running for president as an independent candidate in 2020. He lives near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and in the past has been a contributor to Republican Party candidates. See this story. Thanks to PoliticalWire for the link.
HOW MANY CANDIDATE BALLOT ACCESS DEADLINES NOW ???
He might do better running as a Democrat. I hear that they are getting desperate.
A Republican gun grabber who thinks he can make a difference? What a moron. He’d be lucky to get half as many votes as McMuffin did in 2016.
HOW MANY RICH GERMANS LOVED HITLER IN 1932-1933 ???
BUT – DID NOT LOVE HITLER AFTER VE DAY IN MAY 1945 ??? –
IE AFTER THEIR INCOME AND ASSETS WERE WIPED OUT – ESP IN OLDE EAST GERMANY – COMMIE TAKEOVER.
—
IE MORE DEJA VU — ALL OVER AGAIN ???
Does Weld want to be his running mate?
You almost have to be a billionaire, if you are serious about getting on the ballot in all 50 states and generating enough paid and free advertising to be taken seriously.
I have to agree with Don Wills. This guy has delusions of grandeur!
Maybe he’ll hookup with that guy from Starbucks for his running mate.
He’d better hire Richard Winger fast if he wants to get on the ballot in all states and DC.
I say jump in the race. While I may not like these billionaire candidates, with their money, they may gain some ballot access legal victories along the way that could prove to be advantageous for other independent or third party candidates.
Can even zillionaires hire some NEW lawyers who can detect 14-1 Equal ???
— since ALL the olde lawyers were/are too stupid.
EQUAL ballot access tests for ALL INDIVIDUAL candidates.
