Trump supporters get one vote each regardless of how fired up they are. Democrats set a new nh primary participation record too. We’ll see what happens between now and November. What will be really interesting is if trump wins the popular vote but loses the electoral vote. It nearly happened to bush in 2004.
There’s a mistaken belief that the electoral college necessarily helps republicans but that’s not necessarily true. Trump won many of the largest population states and Clinton won many of the smallest population states.
A swing state like Virginia should go with ranked choice voting for President, like Maine. Maine should have had it in their Presidential primary, too, but the governor delayed its effective date. It would have been interesting to see how votes got ranked and transferred in a Presidential primary.
