HOW SOON BEFORE A NATIONAL PRIMARY DATE ???
As I stated in a previous reply, we are a confederation of fifty free and independent States. The free market system and competition will drive the best way to hold a primary/caucus and the best time for it to the top. The recent Iowa failure will likely have an impact on other states’ decisions, though.
There is an error in the chart. In N M the congressional filing date for major parties was 2/4. 3/10 is the filing date for local offices

NON-robot Elephants using their 2 Amdt self defense *right* while they still have it ???
NH is deceptively dated. Candidate filing is in June for all candidates, petitions for independent and unqualified party candidates are due August 5 to City/Town clerks. Petitions are then returned to candidates by August 26, and taken to SOS by Sept 2.
Inform the FEC of any errors — with state info cites – laws / websites
