Maine News Story on Difficulty for Qualified Minor Parties to Place Candidates on their Own Primary Ballots

Maine is one of three states that makes it extraordinarily difficult for members of small ballot-qualified parties to get on their own party’s primary ballot. A lawsuit filed by the Maine Libertarian Party is currently pending against the Maine restriction, although the news story does not mention it.
