The Bulwark, an on-line newspaper, has this op-ed by Neal Simon, advocating that Mitt Romney run for president in 2020 as an independent, with Michael Bloomberg for vice-president. Simon lives in Maryland and was an independent candidate for U.S. Senate in 2018.
The Bulwark was founded in 2018, with most of its staff coming from the Weekly Standard, associated with Bill Kristol.

It is not likely that Mike Bloomberg would take second place on a ticket headed by Mitt Romney or anybody else.
Given Bloomberg’s willingness to spend money on his campaign, I can’t completely dismiss the possibility, but I seriously doubt that any such campaign could get on 50 ballots. Maybe if they started now, but Bloomberg is busy trying to get the Dem’s nomination.
But then again, this is just a fantasy candidacy, with no basis in reality.
