The Green Party of Maryland, and the Libertarian Party of Maryland, have issued this press release. Both parties are engaged in petitioning to get back on the ballot. They say the corona virus problem has made petitioning much more difficult, and ask the State Board of Elections to put them both on the ballot.
Can they got to court and get injunctive relief?
I do not know if they can win on this, at least now, because the court can point out that there are still petition drives going in other states, including much bigger ones, like initiative drives in California, etc….
Maybe if the Corona-Virus outbreak gets a lot worse this will become more of an issue.

Increases the rates for paid petitioners?
Somebody comment after me, please. So to test whether my comments are being diverted to a page that only I see.
No, Jeff, this puts the burden on the parties instead of the state to protect voting rights. And does not address the issue of the hazards of petitioning during a pandemic.
And it is not good enough. ALL states MUST put the 6 significant parties on ALL ballots. This would be Top Six, which would be minimally satisfactory for fair and representative elections in USA.
IF ALL states do this,
You can thank the coronavirus.
For something that they would not have done otherwise and which the 4 “minor” parties would not have the wherewithal to do.
I believe I am under intensive surveillance and covert operations.
I am still waiting on the CPD decisdion and some news on the Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooter case.
