On April 9, Georgia moved its non-presidential primaries from May 19 to June 9. This does not affect any petition deadlines. The run-off primary will be August 11. Thanks to Thomas Jones for this news.

How much $$$ for quickly forgotten TV ads ???–
ie bankrupt NON-incumbent candidates.
Between the 3 runoff states with 2 rounds of elections left to run (GA, OK, and SC)… Georgia is inching close to having a difficult time holding 3 elections over the period they’re giving themselves. Pretty confident the existence of runoffs kept them from moving their primary deeper into June.
Oklahoma and SC are probably reasonably safe in June right now, or if they aren’t, there’ll be a lot of chaos.
