So was Hall elected with 32%? No runoff?
@ Walter
Apparently Hall and Robert Franklin are going to a runoff, apparently held on the 1st of December. https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/hall-franklin-head-to-runoff-for-rest-of-john-lewis-term
This is for the remainder of John Lewis’s term. The winner of the December 1 runoff will seve a little over a month. (In Texas, the runnerup in a special election may concede, I don’t know if that is possible in Georgia).
Lewis died shortly after being renominated in the primary. The Democratic Party replaced him on the ballot for the full term on the November general election ballot.
Correction — Another top 2 machination.
