Should be cut for all elections. The more I learn about NY ballot access law, the less I like.
BTW, the NY State Constitution bans discrimination on account of creed or religion. I think that “creed” includes political identity. This would seem to make a case for more equitable treatment for smaller parties.
Major party candidates in NY have to petition to get candidates on primary ballots.

Andy, yes, but the primary petitions are much easier, especially for parties with small numbers of registered voters.
