The Kansas Secretary of State has released these statewide active voter registration totals as of February 1, 2021: Republican 871,817; Democratic 508,808; Libertarian 21,297; independent and miscellaneous 537,698.
Percentages are: Republican 44.95%; Democratic 26.23%; Libertarian 1.10%; independent and miscellaneous 27.72%.
Percentages as of October 12, 2020, were: Republican 45.10%; Democratic 26.53%; Libertarian 1.06%; independent and miscellaneous 27.32%.
1% is impressive for the Libertarian party.
6 of the 29 states that have LP voter registration are above 1%. And 5 others are between 0.89% and 0.98%.
@Jim, and coincidentally(?) everyone of those states is located in whole or in part west of the 100th meridian(west).

I know you neighbors Nebraska, Colorado, and Utah are the ones that have more than Kansas.
