The voting issue is a “red herring” nowadays. What’s the point if the USA develops the most perfect system for voting and then having terrible ballot access rules and laws to not allow a variety of candidates on the ballot?

Yes, but they specifically banned private mail services. Package companies are another matter. They are banned from delivering letters and postcards. See Lysander Spooner on this.
