How many registered members before the party is recognized by the state?
Glad to see the increase in Libertarian Party registrations.
Many states publish full registration data on their elections website, with registration information for all parties, and on a regular basis (some weekly, some monthly), but not all of them do this, and I’ve never been able to find this information for Louisiana. I’m wondering if there is some link to the Louisiana SOS website that shows this information (or is it available only upon request?)
Louisiana requires a group to have 1,000 registrations to become a qualified party. It must also pay a fee of $1,000.
There are many states that put up registration data on a website that is not complete, but those states will supply the complete data if they are asked. Those states are Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, and West Virginia.
Looks likee the Reform Party just lost their status then?
Thanks for including the American Solidarity Party numbers; lots of work to be done but it’s a start.
Glad to see the increase in Republican registrations!
