Sometimes I think that the Dems and Reps, in order to be included in this forum, should have to get a particular percentage in certain polls to be named later.
az, it might interest you to know that most Greens and Libertarians actually have a fair bit in common outside of economic policy. On the Political Compass’ ideology chart, both parties’ nominees are socially libertarian, ie, pro-civil liberties, pro-free and fair elections, anti-war, etc. Were it not for our vast economic policy differences, I could almost see our parties having a formal alliance; we already work together on ballot access lawsuits and various protests. https://www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2020
That is why the libertarian party does not appeal to real Americans more. I was involved with them briefly twice. Once when they ran Ron Paul for president and once when they ran Bob Barr and Wayne Root. But the leftist so called libertarian drove me right back to the GOP both times.
