New York has three candidates for U.S. Senate on the November 2022 ballot, the Democratic and Republican nominees, and independent candidate Diane Sare. Spectrum News is sponsoring a Senate debate on October 30, but it has only invited candidates who are at 15% at the polls. However, there is no poll in New York that has asked respondents about their support for Sare. All four of the polls relied on by Spectrum News have asked respondents if they favor the Republican or the Democrat, and did not ask respondents about anyone else, not even the generic “other.”
Bad polling. Bad debates rules.
Controlled environment, not just bad polling, deliberate obfuscation and hidden control by private corporations over dialogue, suppressing what is allowed to be discussed. Sare is talking about preventing nuclear war driven by economic collapse? Who benefits from controlling products and goods, creating distracting terror environment in order to deflect from that?
This is US democracy.
Diane Sare had to get three times as many petition signatures as these two to get the Larouche Party line on the ballot. She deserves a chance.

Place Diane Sare on the debate stage. Let NY voters determine which candidate is best suited to serve. Diane Sare earned her place as an independent candidate by following arbitrary and onerous campaign rules. Spectrum News is clearly acting as an arm of the establishment to silence opinion and debate that run counter to the elitist narrative. The establishment now knows that Diane Sare is the common sense candidate for Senate and are afraid of the power of her policies.
