At the November 8, 2022 election, three minor party nominees received over 30% of the vote for a statewide office. They are David Zuckerman, Progressive Party, who was elected as Vermont’s Lieutenant Governor with 51.41% of the vote; Travis Steven Sanchez, Libertarian for New Mexico Auditor who got 38.07%; and Larry Bolinger, Legal Marijuana Now Party nominee for Nebraska Attorney General, who got 30.11%.
Libertarian Travis Sanchez got 38% in NM State Auditor race, helping maintain Major Party status for the party.

Probably worth mentioning that the former was also nominated by the Democratic Party and the latter two ran in races where a duopoly candidate was absent.
It’s also worth mentioning that in New Mexico the Libertarian nominee for Auditor received nearly as many votes as Republican nominees in statewide races. His percentage of the vote was very competitive with the GOP which is the other party in the state with virtually no hope of winning.
