  1. Congratulations to the Oklahoma Libertarian Party for its increased voter registration.

  2. In Oklahoma parties are either recognized or they are not, there’s no minor or major status. To retain recognition, a party must have a candidate for a statewide office receive at least 2.5% of the vote once every four years. This is the result of changes to the law that occurred back in 2015 and 2016. Prior to that 10% for Governor or President, depending on which was on the ballot, every general election was required.

What? They went from 1,175,253 on November 1, 2022 down to 1,156,384 on January 15, 2023. That’s a decrease. More like, ‘Congratulations, you’ve alienated 18,869 voters.’

  4. They went from 51.19 to 51.88%, so the only way they went down in raw numbers is because there are fewer registered voters now than there were then. And that’s also a good thing, because way too many people are allowed to vote. So congratulations to that entire state in purging a small portion of that dead weight from its voter rolls. It’s not in any way surprising that this dead weight consisted disproportionately of leftist scum.
