New York State Asks U.S. Supreme Court for More Time to Respond to Libertarian-Green Ballot Access Appeal

On April 7, the New York state government asked the U.S. Supreme Court for a time extension, for its response to Libertarian Party of New York v New York State Board of Elections, 22-893. Assuming the court grants the request (and it always does grant such requests), the state’s response will be due May 16. UPDATE: on April 10 the Court did grant the time extension.

  1. YOU SAY THAT LIKE AS IF IT WAS A BAD THING ANDY ZAZULA FROM SOUTHWEST DETROIT WHO MOO0VED TO SCOTTSDALE AZ IN LIKE JUST THE LAST FEW MONTHS U LAFFTARDGBQIAZ+++ LOOSER. FOR EVERY FINGER U POINT AT TRUMP 17-23 POINT BACK AT U AZZ**** !!!!!!!!!

  2. Do what right Ray? Threaten or bribe the judge? Have their propagandists pump out more anti-minor party smear pieces in the “news” media to manipulate the general public into accepting the current requirements? There’s nothing democratic, free, fair, or even Constitutional (First and Fourteenth Amendments) about New York’s current ballot access requirements, which are essentially a de facto ban on candidates other than the Democratic and Republican Parties’. The *right* thing for New York government to do is concede the lawsuit and revert back to the previous requirements which had allowed for sufficient minor party competition and thus free and fair democratic elections.

Also, AZ is right. They’re clearly trying to delay the case until any potential relief obtained is too late for the 2024 election. It’s not pro or anti-Trump, it’s election rigging by *both* ruling/major parties.

  3. Do what Josh? Boy, you sure leaped to a lot of conclusions there based on two sentences containing a grand total of seven words and seven syllables between them. Let’s start with how you know who I meant by guys. You’re so vain, you for sure seem to think you know, don’t you? Don’t you? Meshugana Michiganders are so…

  4. Yoshua Ben Yoseph, do it right by honing the judiciary and evidentiary evidence, perhaps? You’re full of passion, which to some extent can be a good thing, but that’s not in itself either a logically or factually winning argument. A liar with his pants literally on fire would also come off as quite passionate, would he not?

Additionally, I have proposed a better system which would get rid of ballots, ballot access requirements, changing laws, courts, and many other problems, while still allowing for very local elected officials, elected by people who know them well, with a very efficient, small scale, cost effective, super simplified government that is very taxpayer friendly, yet tough on crime, very peaceful through strength against foreigners, foreign armies, foreign goods, and foreign culture, and extremely niggardly towards all manner of leeches and parasites. I can explain it yet again, but all I ever get is low intel replies, whether negative or positive. If there’s not going to be constructive dialogue and constructive criticism, why even bother???

  5. It is infuriating what the Democrats in New York are doing. The fact that they were so proud of kicking Libertarian Larry Sharpe and Green candidate Howie Hawkins and their parties off the ballot shows that they don’t give a crap about us. Heck, The Dems are probably not even progressive at all.

  6. They are progressing towards communist totalitarianism. What did you think they meant by progressive?
