On May 9, the Prohibition Party national convention chose Michael Wood for president, and John Pietrowski for vice-president. The convention was in-person and was held in Buffalo, New York.
Wood lives in California. See here. Pietrowski lives in Ohio.
Does the Prohibition Party presidential nominee still get the $30,000 or so endowment from a rich guy that died more than a century ago?
The Prohibition Party actually has a pretty good conservative platform on their website.
They should have just nominated Trump.
The party still receives an annual bequest from the George Pennock trust. Pennock died in 1930, less than a century ago.
They screwed up big time. Trump was the correct choice.
I got news for some of you people. Trump and Biden are rotten to the core. Vote third party.
HOW MUCH DEATH, DESTRUCTION AND ESP GOVT CORRUPTION DUE TO 1919-1933 PROHIBITION ???
If the Prohibition Party is for the prohibition of Bud Light, I’m all down for them.

ONE MORE GANG OF FANATICS AT WORK FOR CENTURIES
George, Mr. Libertarian, and Jeff Becker are all correct above.
I’d likely never vote for a Prohibition Party candidate, but I do wish them the best of luck with ballot access, as I believe that everyone here should have the right to vote for whatever candidate they believe is best. Hoping they’ll work hard to ensure decent ballot access (and write-in accessibility, if need be).
Trump is not rotten to the core. He’s actually more of a third party guy than like what used to be the GOP leadership. He is going to save America again starting next year.
I have to disagree. Trump has essentially become the establishment GOP, even endorsing Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House. The failures of the Trump administration are literally why we have Joe Biden in office right now. And Joe Biden fricking sucks, not just because he’s the Democratic establishment. After looking at Trump’s policies and the behaviors of his fans, it is clear that Trump has lost most of his appeal as a third-party guy. That is pretty tough considering that he was a member of the Reform party at some point. I think he will definitely bail out on abolishing NATO again just like he did before.
Oh yeah, and I gotta agree with Michael S Mahoney on this. I hope there are more people like him who believe that people should vote for their own values and beliefs instead of the culture wars and identity politics that are currently going on right now.
