Of course it doesn’t feature alternative voting systems. The “Democratic” Party national Establishment doesn’t want to democratically resolve the problem, they want to keep on shaming and extorting voters away from third parties, and sue and legislate the parties and candidates off the ballot. Heck, they’d probably outright ban third parties if they thought they could get away with it without ruining their image abroad.
It’s no fiction that the Democrats are deeply worried about this.

Best knee slapper in the fake news article: Crooked Hillary was, UNLIKE Beijing Biden, from a corrupt family, and had unpopular policies that millions of voters didn’t like (nothing like the Biden Crime Family and his administration’s disastrous policies which not even their own family members can pretend with a straight face they like). But, you see, he’ll escape her fate, because he will fellate “Michelle” Obama and Xi Jinping… no, because he actually couldn’t keep US troops in Afghanistan, no matter how badly he botched their withdrawal, and hasn’t managed to get enough of them into Ukraine yet to have the fake news media establishment declare it a US war.
There were many other knee slappers throughout the fake news media article. If I were inclined to run an IPRX or a Babylon bee, I might rewrite it, slightly exaggerating even further for effect.
It seems to me that the only quick fix for this problem before 2024 is for the Democrats to persuade swing states to adopt the Maine system of choosing Presidential electors.
But, the Democrats are unlikely to do this because they are committed to the NPV method of choosing Presidential electors, which shows no sign of being adopted any time soon, and, in fact, doesn’t even solve the “spoiler” problem. It simply raises the prospect of a minority Presidential election outcome to a nation-wide level, likely with much ensuing chaos.
There really needs to be pushback on this type of commentary. Democrats and Democratic Party mouthpieces need to be taken to task when they spread this sort of nonsense. This is patently undemocratic. When they talk like this spin these kinds of narratives, that’s voter suppression. The Democrats are advocating for the American people to have exactly ONE more option on the ballot than North Korea allows. That’s undemocratic. Democrats are as big a threat to Democracy as Republicans are. Point blank.
