The Libertarian National Committee will be meeting on Sat-Sun, August 19-20, 2023 at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC. That hotel is the site of the 2024 Libertarian Party Presidential Nominating Convention on Memorial Day weekend 2024. The LNC will be hosting a Ballot Access Symposium that Saturday from 7-9PM. Lawyers who don’t file suits that will predictably lose are good lawyers, not bad. Bad lawyers waste their client’s money and their own time filing and pursuing appeals of legal theories which get laughed out of court and may set bad precedents.
I don’t understand the reference to 1968, unless that’s when AZ ate all the brown acid. The LP started in 1971 and was first balloted in its first two states in 1972.
The libertarians may as well be holding their jamboree in Monrovia, Liberia. Where in the US is less libertarian than DC? I bet it will be a very expensive trip for those who go. 200, 300 a night? More? If I had money to burn like that I can think of thousands of better ways to do it. Oh well, no accounting for taste.
