Ranked Choice Voting Bills in State Legislatures This Year Double the Number from Last Year — 54 Comments

  1. RCV is like a two edged sword. It can either be good or terrible. Depends on the results of the election and your favorite candidate.

  2. It tends to favor commies. Also, it is more complicated, which makes cheating easier, and that also favors commies, since they do most of the cheating. The more complicated and confusing to some people and harder or more steps to tabulate, the more opportunities to cheat.

Even with the relatively more simple system now there’s too many ways for commies to cheat and steal elections. Which they do a lot. Look at the 2020 presidential election for example. The Chinese commies got mad that Trump was standing up to them and making America great again, so they got together with American commie traitors like Anthony Fausci, cooked up a biowarfare virus, way exaggerated how bad it was, screwed up the awesome Trump economy, put in shutdowns and ridiculous face diaper mandates and fooled a lot of people into getting injected with poisonous and deadly so called vaccines, illegally changed a lot of election rules, recruited a senile dementia ridden geriatric old man and a San Francisco prostitute as a wholly owned puppet presidential ticket, had 2000 mules to put millions of phony absentee votes into drop boxes, flipped more votes with prehacked vote tabulation software, screwed up the counts on even more votes, and installed their Chinese puppet traitors Biden and Harris as POTUS and VP after stealing the election.

Rcv just makes that even worse. No thanks. Quisling Joe aka Beijing Biden and Cumala Herass are bad enough as it is, along with other commie scumbags such as Gretchen Witless and Gavin Grewsom. Last thing we need is even more of that.

  3. Thanks Bill, interesting article. Why is support/opposition for RCV so partisan? Although, Maine and Alaska aren’t the most Democrat states that come to mind!

I think RCV has less of a chance of electing “commies” than First-Past-The-Post because it has transfer votes and reduces the spoiler effect. Although, I don’t really know what you mean by that word.

  4. Maine and Alaska are not the most commie states. RCV is the only reason some commies win there. RCV elects more commies for reasons I explained earlier this morning (scroll up).

Commies are leftards. A few of them actually call themselves communists but most don’t. They usually call themselves Democrats, Liberals, or Progressives. Sometimes Greens or Socialists. But they are all exactly the same because their eventual goal is marketed as a workers paradise egalitarian environmentally friendly kumbaya utopia, but in reality turns out to be gulags, killing fields, mass starvation, totalitarianism, and hell on earth. The only differences between those terms is how quickly they get there or how dishonest they are about their goals.

As part of their goals for the 21st century they want to blend all the races into a single race of stupid, easy to control slaves, erase national borders and create a globalist totalitarian superstate that spies on and totally controls everyone, make child molestation universal and mandatory, kill off 90% of humanity as a sacrifice to Satan under the guise of environmental policies, totally confuse gender roles, eliminate the family, get everyone on drugs, install Luciferian one world religion, create a fascist government-corporate partnership economy, brainwash everyone with tik tok and porn and crap like that, seize all the guns. Basically destroy all freedom, heritage, tradition, western civilization, human biodiversity, Christian faith, independent thinking, individual entrepreneurship, family values, etc.

  5. FOR NON TROLL MORONS –

    34 L–M–R
    33 R–M–L
    16 M–L–R
    16 M–R–L

    WHO WINS ???

    L = STALIN, R = HITLER, M = WASHINGTON

  6. People like to throw around that word Communist, or Fascist quite a bit. Its like when I grew up in the fifties. Call someone a name and hope it sticks to discredit them: fag, queer, nazi. fascist. warmonger, homo, atheist, liberal, marxist, red, spear chucker, etc.

  7. Walter Soon to and Bigdaddyluvsu, I already explained what communism really is early this morning. I am not using epithets. Their evil plans have been leaked from a variety of sources you can find if you do some research. I did it, found them, and read them, but didn’t keep ready notes for exact resources, not all of which were online. If you want to learn more, the information is available, but I won’t spoon feed it to you; you will have to do the research yourself.

As I explained earlier, the CPUSA is a very tiny above the water piece of a giant, mostly submerged iceberg of evil satanic communism. Most of them run for office as Democrats, some as independents or Republicans or minor parties. Many don’t run for elective office at all, but wield political power from a wide variety of appointed government bureaucrat positions at all levels (most government bureaucrats are communist) or as independent contractors hired by government (for example as “diversity trainers”). Others act from outside government as protest and pressure groups of all sorts. Basically, the so called left wing activists are all communist. A few are dupes, but their organizations all have a critical mass of knowing, committed communists in charge.

Basically, after the reality of communist totalitarianism became widely known in non communist countries – gulags, mass starvation, killing fields, domestic espionage, economic failure, lack of civil liberties, etc – most communists in these countries stopped calling themselves communists, preferring to act through front organizations, infiltrate existing structures of power, and working relentlessly and incrementally towards power over the long term and usually without revealing their real intentions openly (with some exceptions), rather than the aboveboard political or revolutionary means a tiny percentage of communists in non communist countries still use.

When I call the leaders of the DemonRat party communist, I am not using it as an epithet. I mean that they are dedicated, sworn communists, committed to eventually creating a full scale global communist totalitarian dictatorship. Most of them won’t admit it except to other sworn communists on a need to know basis. They are quite literally agents of a global communist conspiracy, literally following orders from communist bosses communicated through surreptitious means. They dominate the DemonRat party, and run under every other party label out there, plus independents.

  8. Ziobro, not Soon. Blame Google for the “correction” of your name. Google is one of many “capitalist” companies which is actually controlled by communists.

  9. Bigdaddyluvsu, the truth about the communist conspiracy began to come out in the 1950s. People like Joe McCarthy, House Unamerican Activities Committee, John Birch Society etc began to expose it then. The FBI also did a lot to track communist infiltration in those days (these days, it has itself come under their control).

You have to remember that communists especially love to nest wherever public opinion is formed and shaped. Thus, the history profession, education at all levels, establishment media, Hollywood etc are all dominated by communists. If you’ve come to believe their negative misinformation about Joe McCarthy, the John Birch Society, J. Edgar Hoover, etc,you should open your mind up to the possibility you were misled and manipulated , because that is exactly what happened and is still happening.

  10. The movement for ever bigger government comes from many directions. It isn’t directed by any single vast conspiracy.

  11. In fact, the political trend toward the centralization of power, usually in the executive, and at the highest levels, is a universal trend just about everywhere, and throughout recorded history.

The remedy is a strong constitution, with distributed powers, and checks and balances, particularly on the executive. The US Constitution’s weak point is insufficient checks and balances on the President. Switzerland has a better constitution because power is distributed even within the executive branch.

  12. Yes, it is directed by a single conspiracy . And its plans have been leaked from a variety of sources . I’m not speaking from ignorance here. I’ve spent countless hours over the course of many years looking into it.

  13. No kind of checks and balances can protect you when an enemy you don’t even recognize hides in plain sight and exerts power through all levels and branches of government, deep state unelected bureaucracy, and numerous structures of all sorts other than government.

  14. WZ-

USA ALSO NONPARTISAN ELECT USA AG / SOS / TREAS / MARSHALLS / DAS. —

WHAT NATL REGIME ONLY ELECTS ONE TOP EXEC ??? AND SURVIVES. ???

NO MENTION PREZ IN LAWS — MENTIONS IN CONST ONLY

  15. I’ll amend that somewhat. Checks and balances do help to some extent. But when you are operating blindly about the reality and extent of a nefarious conspiracy, it’s like thinking you are healthier than you are by avoiding being screened for cancer because you don’t notice undeniable symptoms. Or worse yet, living in denial and explaining and rationalizing such symptoms as you do notice and saying things like improving my diet will take care of it. It can help, but is not enough by itself.

  16. Kyle is not wrong about the communist conspiracy. I disagree that the trend toward centralization is universal and constant throughout history. The ebb and flow of trends toward both centralization and decentralization is constant. Classical liberalism did a lot to create checks and balances in many countries. Before that, absolute monarchy was the general rule. Compared with that, we have less centralization of power in the executive, regardless of whatever slogans troll moron AZ shouts for the umpteen thousandth time.

Larger nations sometimes break down into parts, for example the USSR, the British empire on which the sun used to never set, other European colonial powers, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, India/Pakistan/Bangladesh, etc.

    Bureaucracy is sometimes deregulated.

There are all kinds of examples of both centralization and decentralization of power throughout the world and throughout history.

  17. USA-

HOW MANY FED/STATE/LOCAL UNELECTED EXECS WITH POWER TO MAKE LEGIS REGS ???

    >>> USELESS REGULAR LEGIS BODIES >>> DE FACTO LAW MAKING BY TOP EXECS [EXEC LEGIS ORDERS] / COURTS.

  18. The decentralization of power usually only takes place when the central dictator screws up and causes some disaster that results in collapse of the central power. This can happen over the reign of a series of dictators, such as in the Roman Empire.

Then, after the collapse, new entities are created, with greater or lesser safeguards, and the cycle recommences.

  19. AZ,like every other communist, doesn’t respect it when people like Pat and Max ask him to leave them alone. He insists on forcing himself on people no matter how many times he is asked to go away or told no.

  20. Walter – not always true. At the time of the American revolution, the colonists were some of the freest people on earth, in many respects more free even than Englishmen back home in England, and certainly more free than people in various European countries and colonies, as well as many non European peoples. In many ways, it was exactly the relatively higher level of freedom they already enjoyed which allowed them to dream bigger and reach for even more.

Another example, the fall of the iron curtain and then the collapse of the Soviet Union itself, did not take place when the Soviet system was at its most repressive, but after several decades of gradual relative liberalization (compared to the Stalin era) which at the end accelerated under Gorbachev.

  21. What happened during the American Revolution was that George 3 overreached , and lost a part of his empire.

An example of decentralization by a dictator’s miscalculation.

  22. Anyway, even if there IS some vast conspiracy, the remedy can be found in Madison’s Federalist #10: decentralize power so much that is very difficult for any one party or person to get control of the entire system.

It’s still working to some degree in the US. No one party or person controls everything.

Just watch out to not let the President of either party get too much power. That;s the weakest link in the Constitution.

  23. EARLY BRITS IN 1607-1775 AMERICAN COLONIES–

FREE TO KILL OFF INDIANS AND BRING IN SLAVES 1619 ONWARD

  24. Walter Ziobro, compare the rights of American British colonists in 1776 with those of American French, Spanish, Portuguese and other colonists at the time. The British colonists were much more free than the others. They were also more free than UK citizens in the UK itself in many respects, for example they enjoyed a much lower tax rate (see https://www.mountvernon.org/george-washington/colonial-life-today/early-american-economics-facts/ ) . It’s simply not true that the revolution happened because they were the most oppressed people in the world. By many regards, they were already the least oppressed at the time before the American revolution. And while it’s true that certain particular actions of King and Parliament got under their skin, those were minor compared with what colonists in other parts of the Americas, people all over Europe, and people all over the world had to deal with at the time.

  25. Pennsylvania and all of New England abolished slavery between 1777 and 1784. The Northwest Ordinance created several new free territories, later states, in 1789. The constitution sunsetted importation of slaves in 1808, with slave trade acts in 1794 and 1800 which gradually cut down on the practice.

  26. Pat: Thanks for posting the link at Mount Vernon.org It was interesting and informative. I agree with your main points.

  27. The King of England eliminated about every burden tax on the American colonists except a tiny tea tax and colonists threw a pussy-ass hissy fit over that.

  28. duh I love rcv. duh I too dumb to run my life duh so I need communism. duh rcv loves communism

  29. I wonder if America would have been better if we would have kept the King? OMG. Forget it. We already have one now in office.

  32. Yes, we already know the sky is falling in crAZyland. And has been falling for over 6,000 years. Tell us something we didn’t know.

Like for example above, that New Jersey and some American Indian tribes still had legal chattel enslavement of black slaves into 1866 (the emancipation proclamation did not impact union states; NJ did not ratify the 13th amendment and waited until a state law was signed to free the rest of its slaves in 1866, and the Indian confederacy in what is now Oklahoma did not sign a treaty to end slavery until 1866). Delaware and Kentucky had legal slavery until December 1865, six months after Juneteenth in Texas. New Mexico peonage, a hereditary form of debt slavery, ended by law in 1867, but the practice persisted illegally even past the turn of the century.

Similarly, slavery in Alaska ended legally with US purchase in 1867, but continued to exist illegally into the 20th century. Hawaii legally ended slavery in the 1850s, but debt slavery and indentured servitude was the main form of labor on Hawaii’s plantations until US annexation in 1898, and in less legal or formal ways even later.

The Angola plantation in Lousiana and Parchman farm in Mississippi operate very much like antebellum plantations did in those states, using prison convicts, a majority (but not all) of whom are blacks.

Sharecropping, company towns, and convict leasing maintained a system little changed from slavery well into the 20th century. A similar system persists into the 21st, consisting of convicts, illegals, and drug addicts who fall into debt to organized crime syndicates, who all end up effectively as slaves, although only the convicts are legally eenslaved.

  33. Troll moron AZ,

All caps are more difficult to read. It’s usually considered rude and yelling. There’s a reason why no one else here does it except when mocking you. There’s also a reason why capitalization of letters exists to begin with. If all caps were easier to read for sane people, no other kinds of letters would exist to begin with. You are not normal or sane. You need mental health treatment. You probably already don’t physically go in the presence of other people, which is good, because you are weird and annoying. You’re no less weird, annoying, useless and crAZy when you go online. Nothing you post convinces anyone. All it does is annoy people and waste their time. You should seek help from trained mental health professionals instead of spending all your waking time in your dank basement while you wait to die endlessly yelling repetitive nonsense online to annoy and harrass people and waste their time while not convincing anyone of anything whatsoever except that you are a lunatic.

Next AZ troll moron comment about BLAH BLAH BLAH???
