New Jersey Republican State Central Committee Tentatively Wants Caucus, not Presidential Primary, to Choose Delegates

According to New Jersey Globe story dated September 26, the New Jersey Republican state central committee has tentatively decided to choose delegates to the national convention by a caucus instead of the June presidential primary.

The story says the most likely date for the caucus would be March 8, with April 15 as an alternative.  Thanks to PoliticalWire for the news.

  13. You attribute a lot of things to minority rule with zero evidence that they would be better, or even not worse, under majority rule. Do you have any evidence for this claim?

ONE side, the sinister left/progressive cancer/demon rats (plus the dwindling antiTrump Republicans) are closer to both commie and fascist than Trump and those of us supporting him are. The current US left is fascist, with the eventual (but in most cases not stated) goal of “progression” towards full blown communism over time. Contrary to pervasive commie propaganda, fascism is far LEFT totalitarian, just shy of full blown communism.

    AZ wants you to think that fascism is far right, and that Trump and the GOP are fascist. That is a lie, and does not match the historical record of fascism.   16. No, troll moron, people who are not troll morons (I.e. Not you) can detect a difference. We may disagree whether that difference would be for the better of worse, or be unsure. That doesn’t make us troll morons. You are intentionally ignorant of history, and every time we delve into it, you run off and name call, post a bunch of fake news links, and the rest of your defensive mechanisms.

    Fortunately, I never attended government schools.

    Statist control schemes, government schools, more wars, debt, and every other problem you mentioned expanded exponentially with the increase of the popular franchise over time. That’s a historical fact. Since you’re intentionally ignorant of history, you haven’t and won’t read public choice theory, Hoppe’s “Democracy: The God That Failed,” or other theories as to why that happened, including in many of the federalist and antifederalist papers.

    Instead, you’ll just maintain your intentional ignorance and fake air of superiority, assume the point you’re trying to prove as a priori a given, repeat yourself endlessly while persuading precisely no one, and call anyone who ever bothers to acknowledge your nonsense all the things that you actually are yourself.   18. All those things do better for the majority as well as most minorities under more limited, less democratic government. That does not mean all forms of nondemocratic government. A certain amount of democracy is generally beneficial, but it needs to be balanced and limited. Better = not getting killed or enslaved, not being overtaxed or overregulated, not being overrun with foreigners, peace and prosperity, low crime, adequate national defense but not imperialism or garrison state, respect for local and individual rights, protection of minorities as well as majority, no excess debt, the normal things.
