Keep EC. Go back to legislators electing electors. Go back to property owning White men who are gainfully employed, gun owning, churchgoing Christian married heads of families with children, willing and able to pay poll tax, elect the legislators.
I agree, except that I don’t think they necessarily have to be White. Just as long as they or any of their ancestors were not living outside the US at any time since 1965 when the immigration laws got screwed up, and they and all their male ancestors have been registered to vote in the same county since at least 1965, they should retain voting rights of they meet all the other criteria, including a loyalty oath to the United States and our rightfully elected President Trump.

I also like Approval Voting for single-seat elections, but a national election for president using that method is against federalism, because it lumps votes from all the states together.
Forcing every state to use Approval Voting for its own electoral votes is also not OK, because it’s an overreach of the federal government.
Taking away the 2 bonus electoral college votes that each state gets just for existing is out of character. We have a Senate where each state is on equal footing. Do you want to abolish the Senate, too?
